While practicing at Pod2 and SportsMed podiatry practices, Emily specialised in postural mechanics and video gait analysis including working with professional athletes to manage and rehabilitate sporting injuries.

Emily is an accomplished athlete herself having played Hockey for Australia and running for Tasmania and South Australia.

In 2015, Emily returned to her home of Launceston and established her own modern podiatry practice. Emily enjoys applying her specialised experience to treat complex foot and leg conditions.

Your feet are the building blocks of your body and a strong postural foundation is essential to your health and wellbeing.

Foot and leg pain causes compensatory patterns in your postural mechanics which affect the function of the entire body.

This can lead to problems with the foot, ankle, knee, pelvis and spine.

Chronic foot and leg pain can prevent you from leading a full and active life.

At Hyde Podiatry, we look beyond the obvious symptoms and assess the underlying causes of foot pain to help you lead a more active life.
